MaryAnn Gimbel

PT, DPT Certified Hand Therapist Understanding and seeing the personal, functional, and economic impact that upper extremity injuries have on patients’ lives was a motivating factor in MaryAnn’s decision to concentrate in the specialty of Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation. MaryAnn attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned the Post Professional Certification in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation from Drexel University, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with an emphasis on Management and Business Administration from EIM Institute of Health Professions. Over the course of her career MaryAnn had the opportunity to work alongside the pioneers in hand surgery and rehabilitation from the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area during the establishment of this specialty in the region. With 30 years of clinical and management experience, Mary Ann practices with an emphasis on hand and upper quarter rehabilitation and custom splinting.  She is a Certified Hand Therapist, recognized by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and is the Facility Director of St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Hometown clinic where her team focuses on individualized patient evaluation and treatment with an emphasis on quality functional outcomes.
