PT, DPT As a tri-sport high school athlete, Gina McArdle learned firsthand about the field of Physical Therapy after she tore her ACL while playing field hockey. It was after months of hard work with her dedicated Physical Therapist that she was inspired to take her next steps.  She went on to attend Misericordia University where she also played collegiate softball. Gina graduated from Misericordia in 2011 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She also received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Misericordia in 2014. Gina is also a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She more recently has been gaining experience in the world of academia as an adjunct professor for a local college, teaching in orthopedic physical therapy.  She is experienced treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and has special interest in treating athletes of all ages, knee pain, foot/ankle pain, and post-concussion. Gina believes in incorporating evidence-based practice combined with patients’ individual abilities and interests in order to maximize outcomes. In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading and exercising, especially weightlifting.
