Amber Cunningham

PT, DPT Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy Amber, a pediatric physical therapist and mom of two, acknowledges the unique challenges children and caregivers experience in building a support system. As a member of a multidisciplinary team Amber has gratitude for the opportunity to help support children and their families in her home community.  Amber graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Widener University in 2010. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Amber specializes in the treatment of children from infancy through adolescence and specializes in treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction and bowel/bladder incontinence in the pediatric population. She has completed Pelvic Floor Levels 1-3 and Pediatric Pelvic Floor with the APTA as well as Pediatric Bowel and Bladder training through Herman and Wallace. Amber strives to utilize a patient and family centered approach, focusing on meeting a family where they are and working towards a child’s ultimate health goals. Amber recognizes the sensitive nature of pediatric pelvic health and emphasizes the importance of normalizing bowel and bladder habits and challenges, providing age appropriate education and working with the child’s care team to fully support each child’s needs. In her free time Amber enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with her kids.
