As a collegiate athlete who suffered numerous upper extremity injuries during her athletic career, Abbigail enjoys working with all athletes across the lifespan who suffer from upper extremity conditions to assist them in meeting their goals. Abbigail holds clinical interests in not only upper extremity conditions but orthotic fabrication, wound care, and kinesiotaping. She holds a post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Gannon University and earned a Master’s of Occupational Therapy from Xavier University with a minor in Deaf Studies while competing on the university swim team. Abbigail is a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and is currently working towards her certification in hand therapy. She believes in a client-centered approach and holds high value in the client-therapist relationship. Abbigail’s passion shows through her mentorship of future clinicians and motivation to continue her education. Abbigail continues to work in conjunction with physicians to complete research to improve client outcomes as she strives to provide her clients with the best, most up to date practice techniques.
