Joshua Kiner

PT, DPT Having experience as a football student-athlete from University of Akron and his time in the United States Army Reserve, Joshua has experienced his share of sports injuries and concussion.  Joshua enjoys working with all individuals across their lifespan who suffer from neurological conditions, assisting them in meeting their most important and meaningful goals. His experience as a Division 1 athlete gives a perspective of the challenge’s athletes need to overcome to get back into their sport. While serving in the United States Army Reserve, Joshua was able to receive advance training in amputee and traumatic brain injury rehab at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Amputee Service: Military Advance Training Center (MATC). He had the pleasure of treating soldiers wounded from the War on Terror and assisting them in their care to get back to an active lifestyle. Joshua graduated from the University of Scranton with his Doctor of Physical Therapy. He continues to strive for excellence in his field through continued education such as Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, LSVT Certified, Rock Steady Boxing Certified, PWR! certifications. Joshua enjoys and practices a hands-on approach to treatment as well as a personalized and collaborative treatment plan with each patient .
