Cara Yezzi

PT, DPT Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurology Cara received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science at the University of Central Florida and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of North Florida. She came back to New Jersey to begin her profession in inpatient rehabilitation, specializing in stroke, brain injury, and multi-trauma. Throughout her eight years in inpatient rehabilitation, she led education and training programs for the nursing and therapy departments, led the campus specific neurology committee, and a residency faculty member for Neurology. In 2016, she achieved her Board Certification in the field of Neurology to further pursue her passion with neurological disorders. She also was a co-author for the July/August edition of Rehab Measures Magazine for their featured cover article on Pain Management in 2019. Cara is excited to share her passion for Neurological Physical Therapy within the St. Luke’s Organization. In addition to her Board Certification in Neurology, she is also certified in Rock Steady Boxing, LSVT BIG, and an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Outside of work, Cara enjoys hiking, running, being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
