PT, DPT Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy Georgia received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University. She has inpatient experience working in skilled nursing facilities and acute rehabilitation units. She helped develop a comprehensive amputee program, with implementation of a prosthetic training program, in an inpatient setting. Georgia specializes in treatment of amputees, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses. She is currently working toward a specialization in vestibular therapy. She believes in incorporating tasks that are meaningful to the patient in order to maximize their function and meet their individual needs. Georgia is a member of the APTA and utilizes current evidence-based research to optimize patient outcomes. She is also LSVT certified and Rock Steady Boxing certified, which are both programs for people with Parkinson's disease
