Michelle Foley

BS, OTR/L Michelle graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors of Arts in Health and Human Services from the University of Buffalo. She has experience working in multiple settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, head injury day program and general neuro outpatient. She specializes in the treatment of the neuro population and is NDT trained. Michelle has presented on NDT to the local chapter of the POTA and at the St. Luke’s neuro symposium on the role of OT in brain injury recovery. Michelle follows a holistic approach, incorporating various treatment methods such as Reiki, yoga and meditation to address the physical, cognitive and mental health aspects of an individual. She continues to explore alternative methods of treatment to provide the best care and interventions for all aspects of recovery. Michelle values connecting with her patients and assisting them in overcoming obstacles to improve their quality of life and allowing them to re-engage in activities that define what they love.
