Lizette Morales Ortiz

MS, CCC-SLP Lizette Morales-Ortiz received her Master of Science in Medical Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University and graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Spanish. She is LSVT LOUD certified and PROMPT trained. She has performed diagnosis and treatment on those diagnosed with cognitive disorders, Developmental Delays, pragmatic disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, Apraxia, Language based disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Prematurity, Central Auditory Processing Disorder, swallowing disorders, Sensory deficits, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and neurodegenerative disorders. Lizette has experience with individual and group therapy and implementation of AAC systems. She has cultivated a special love and professional focus working with children in the areas of developmental feeding disorders. She has received specialized training in Feeding assessment/intervention and uses a variety of methods to treat the medically complex/fragile population, infants with cue based feeding needs, school-aged children, and young adults diagnosed with feeding/oral motor disorders, and sensory feeding issues.Lizette currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), where she is also a member.
