Karen received her Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She worked for several years specializing in Spinal Cord Rehab and other neurological conditions. She then moved on to work in Hand Therapy and Work Hardening. In 1999, she obtained her Certification in Hand Therapy. Since then, she has developed skills in Myofascial Release Techniques, Kinesiotaping, Graston Technique, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Of recent interest is in using the Interactive Metronome for treatment of patients with CVA’s, concussions and tremors. She is also the “in house” Ergonomic Consultant. Karen enjoys teaching and she helps coordinate the OT Student Program at Warren. Karen has been at our Warren Campus since 1997, and enjoys working with people in her home community. She is a member of the Lehigh Valley Hand Society and American Society of Hand Therapists. Her interests include hiking, kayaking, and quilting.
