Amber Cunningham

PT, DPT Amber graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Widener University in 2010. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist. Amber specializes in the treatment of children from infancy through adolescence. Amber’s interest and previous experience at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia includes gait analysis and orthosis prescription, splinting, pediatric bone health, Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, early development, cerebral palsy, congenital orthopedic conditions, and postoperative rehabilitation. Amber’s utilizes a patient and family centered approach to meet each client’s individual potential. She is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In her free time Amber enjoys yoga, running and spending time with her family. Since joining St. Luke's, Amber has expanded her interests to include the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy for bowel and bladder dysfunction in the pediatric population. She has completed Pelvic Floor Levels 1-3 and Pediatric Pelvic Floor with the APTA as well as Pediatric Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction with Herman and Wallace. Amber strives to treat each client from a whole-person perspective, focusing on addressing the problem and working towards clients ultimate health goals.
