• Completes patient evaluations, develops treatment plans and implements treatment programs.
• Supervises COTA, as well as OTR/COTA field work students and volunteers as needed.
• Assists in developing and implementing program development.
• Completes timely communication and documentation of patient related information.

• Oversees and directs the work of the staff in the Administrative Office.
• Maintains open communication with the staff and administrative and other hospital personnel.  Troubleshoot any problems that arise in the day-to-day functioning of the office. 
• Assists in maintaining the practice’s policies and procedures as concerns Medicare Compliance, HIPAA Compliance and OSHA Compliance.:
• Accounts Payable – assists the bookkeeper with duties as needed.
• Prepares monthly reports and meets with the administrative staff to discuss such reports.
• Distributes correspondence to individuals designated in a timely manner and maintains files of correspondence and related materials.
• Screens telephone call and visitors, and sorts incoming and interdepartmental mail.
• Maintains defined levels of office supplies; prepares purchase orders.
• Addresses company representatives, patient visitors, co-workers and others in a courteous, professional and pleasant manner at all times.
• Provide support and back up to other Administrative Team members involving Compliance, Human Resources and Information Technology.

As a pediatric physical therapist you will evaluate and treat patients to maximize patients' functional abilities. You will work in an environment offering state of the art equipment that will help you provide the highest quality of care. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Evaluates and treats patients
• Documents patient evaluation, patient care plans, and treatment progress on Medical Records, completes Medicare recerfications and discharge planning.
• Supervises PT and PTA students and observers as assigned.
• Assists in developing and implementing department programs.

The Front Desk Coordinator performs, organizes, and prioritizes clerical functions within the Physical Therapy Department. The position includes answering the phone, patient registration, patient scheduling, insurance verifications and authorizations, word processing, filing, and general office duties. Job responsibilites include, but are not limited to the following:

• Answers the telephone in a timely manner, and assists or directs the caller to the appropriate person or department.
• Recieves and updates patient information.
• Establishes and maintains accurate patient records and record filing system.
• Accurately completes the registration process in the current computer system.
• Verifies patient's insurance benefits.
• Processes pre-certifications/authorizations depending on the special requirements of the patient's insurance company.
• Schedules appointments considering patient needs and utilizing the clinic time efficiently. 
• Any other administrative duties as needed.
