Pediatric Physical Therapy assesses and treats strength, gross motor skills, muscle tone, range of motion, and overall mobility in order to improve and maximize independent function and safety within the daily environment. Pediatric Therapy at St. Luke's offers specialty prgrams such as aquatic therapy to help children develop developmentally appropraite skills.

Our Pediatric Physical Therapists evaluate and treat a wide range of diagnoses including:
 
  • Abnormal muscle tone (high or low)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Failure to thrive resulting in decreased endurance/strength
  • Failure to meet developmental milestones
  • Frequent tripping/falling
  • Poor balance/coordination
  • Poor posture/malalignment of lower extremities
  • Spina Bifida
  • Torticollis
  • Toe Walking
  • Any other atypical development/neurodevelopmental diagnosis
