Lauren Garges

PT, MSPT Lauren graduated from Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Biology and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. She is the Director of St. Luke’s Pelvic Rehab Program. Lauren is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy and holds additional certifications in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction as well as Pregnancy and Postpartum considerations through the American Physical Therapy Association. She frequently presents on the topic of pelvic dysfunction for professional and community organizations and teaches about postpartum recovery at St. Luke’s School of Nursing. Lauren has contributed to articles on pelvic pain and incontinence for both Runner’s World magazine and Health.com. She believes that chronic pain is frustrating for many patients and strives to hold space for them to tell their stories to unravel their challenging conditions. As an athlete and mother of two, she knows first-hand the unique changes that a woman’s body goes through during both pregnancy and postpartum healing and she especially enjoys working with this population to help them achieve their personal goals.
