William Shimer
PT, DPT
William graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and specializes in the treatment of all orthopedic conditions in adolescents and adults with special interest in the treatment of running-related injuries. He is an experienced runner himself having competed since 1998 at the high school, collegiate, and local age-group levels. He has completed 3 marathons (3:11:28 P.R.), 9 half-marathons (1:17 P.R.), and over 100 5k’s and 10k’s and draws upon this experience when treating the injured runner at all skill levels.
