Mary Shirk

BS, OTR/L Mary has been working as a pediatric OT for more than 20 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including school, clinic, and home-based early intervention. She has worked with children with a wide range of needs, especially those with autism and feeding needs. Mary received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from College Misericordia. She has certification in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS approach). Mary believes in working with families to enable them to meet the needs of their children through play. Mary is very proud of her 2 children, Patrick-who is pursuing a career in the business field, and Abby-who is attending nursing school in Georgia and playing on the women’s soccer team. She also has a rescue dog named Rosie who likes treats and walks. Mary enjoys cooking, knitting, yoga, and travel.
