Emily Bloomfield

MS, CCC-SLP Emily has a passion for working with and supporting children and their families. Emily has experience working with adults and pediatrics in the acute care and outpatient settings addressing speech and language disorders, feeding/swallowing impairments, and voice disorders. She is passionate about working with children of all ages who are diagnosed with dysphagia and feeding impairments. She holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. Emily has specialized training in both PROMPT and the SOS Approach to Feeding. Emily currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Emily’s goal is to build strong rapport with the families she works with and address their goals through creative patient-centered intervention plans to encourage meaningful carryover.
