Kasey Gilbert

MS, CCC-SLP Kasey received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) and is Pennsylvania state licensed. She has prior experience in a school-based setting, serving children from grades K-12 in special education settings including Life Skills Support and Autistic Support classrooms. Kasey has experience with a variety of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and has a passion for working with children that utilize multiple modalities to functionally communicate. She believes that child-led, play-based approaches can lead to positive outcomes; and participation in a multi-disciplinary setting may encourage continued growth for children. Kasey promotes a strong collaboration with families to maximize a child’s potential in successfully communicating across many settings and opportunities.
