Our Mission:
To develop advanced providers and leaders in the professions of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to provide superior care in the diagnosis and management of simple and complex upper extremity and hand conditions.
Program Outline:
- 1 year starting in January, April, or September
- Performed synchronously with 1-year Virtual Hand to Shoulder Fellowship (VHSF) curriculum [Virtual Hand to Shoulder Fellowship | Hand Therapy Fellowship (virtualhandfellowship.com)]
- 4 hours of 1:1 mentoring per week
- Full time program accruing 1700 hours that can be used toward the 4,000 hours of clinical hours required to be eligible to sit for CHT exam
- Diverse and accessible expert faculty
- Integrated interprofessional learning opportunities including rotations with expert physical therapists, occupational therapists, and surgeons
- Multiple labs and patient care opportunities throughout the year including orthosis fabricatio
Requirements:
- Current PA or NJ PT or OT license
- Preferred 12 months experience in UE and hand rehabilitation in an outpatient orthopedic setting (Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis)
