MS, CCC-SLP Kirsten is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who specializes in treating individuals with Autism Spectrum & related disorders, motor speech disorders, and early language delays/disorders. As a speech therapist, Kirsten evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with communication and swallowing troubles. These conditions may be due to developmental delay, brain injury, hearing loss, autism, stroke or other diseases and injuries. Kirsten enjoys helping patients make sounds and improve their communication through various methods. Kirsten received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a certified instructor to parents of children with autism spectrum & related communication disorders. Kirsten is passionate about taking a family-centered approach to therapy and helping caregivers strengthen social-emotional bonds with their children. She believes caregiver training and education are key to fostering communication skills.
