Brian Seitz

MOT, OTR/L After learning about hand therapy through program coursework and having a 12-week Level II Fieldwork placement in hand therapy, Brian developed a passion for treating individuals with hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions that cause dysfunction in daily life. Brian earned his Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University and Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation & Human Services from Penn State University with minors in Psychology and Deafness & Hearing Studies. During his coursework at Temple University, Brian helped lead a research project on the use of Telehealth as a treatment method for patients with brain injuries in underserved communities in India. He collaborated with the Head Injury Foundation of India to develop and implement a training program in the use of telehealth for OTs and PTs in these communities. Brian believes in using individualized, occupation-based, and evidence-driven treatment approaches to help patients achieve their goals. He enjoys getting to know his patients on a personal level to establish a strong sense of therapeutic alliance. During spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, golfing, playing volleyball, and spending time with his parents, 6 older sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
