MOT, OTR/L Certified Hand Therapist Being from the Lehigh Valley, Heather is proud to be a member of the team at Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s, and providing care to the community that she has grown up in.  She received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from The University of the Sciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Upon finishing her professional degree, she completed a Hand Therapy Fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital to gain knowledge and experience with orthopedic upper extremity conditions. In 2018, she became a Certified Hand Therapist, and provides expert care for patients with hand, wrist, and elbow injuries.  Heather incorporates manual techniques including joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotape, and modalities such as ultrasound and iontophoresis into her practice and is skilled in fabricating static and dynamic custom orthotics. She focuses on patient centered care and strives to make therapy a fun and comfortable environment while also challenging patients to reach their physical and functional goals.
