Dr. Vikram is a Fellowship Trained Sport Medicine Physician with Dual Board Certification in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He completed his medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. Before coming to St. Luke’s, he worked at United Kingdom’s National Health Services for over 4 years in medical and surgical specialties.
Dr. Vikram serves as the team physician for Moravian College University, Northampton Community College, The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, and several high schools. He serves as Department Chief of Primary Care Sports Medicine, Program Director of the St. Luke’s Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, Medical Director of Moravian University Health Center and Athletic Training (M.S) programs. He is actively involved in teaching and research and is a servicing member of American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine and a Credentialed ImPACT Consultant (CIC).
Dr. Vikram cares for both athletes and non-athletes across all age groups. He specializes in treating non-operative acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries including fracture care. He sees sports related concussions, performs ultrasound guided joint injections and musculoskeletal procedures. His special interests include minimally invasive TENEX procedure, PRP injections and regenerative medicine.
